Azerbaijan Cancels Daylight Saving Time
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers decided to abolish its own decision of 17 March 1997 on the daylight saving time.
In making this decision they took into account the opinion of the National Academy of Sciences, said the Cabinet of Ministers.
Earlier, the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences issued a decision that the transition between summer and winter time is unjustified and has a negative psychological impact.
To make such a profound conclusion, the scientists took 20 years, which shows, among other things, the state of Azerbaijani science. -02D-
