The meeting participants were presented a position paper by the ADPP, which included proposals for amendments to the draft law. It was approved by the participants of the meeting.
It was emphasized that the draft law is in conflict with the society's course towards democracy and integration into the progressive international community. It contradicts the constitution, the laws of the country, the requirements of international conventions in the field of human rights and freedoms.
The bill provides for strengthening the control of power over political parties, limiting pluralism, and so on. A total of 10 conceptual proposals were made to amend the draft law.
