Azerbaijan opens borders for free visits of citizens of Turkey and Russia
Baku/05.06.21/Turan: On June 10, Azerbaijan will open borders for free visits of citizens of Russia and Turkey, taking into account the improvement in the epidemiological situation with COVID-19 in these countries, the decision by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
On June 10, the system of special permits to enter Azerbaijan will be canceled for citizens of the Russian Federation and Turkey, and they will be able to enter freely the country.
However, the conditions for entry are that passengers over 18 years of age have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure, as well as an official document of complete vaccination (COVID passport) or a certificate of a recent illness (certificate of a patient who has recovered). For passengers under the age of 18, a negative PCR test is required.
For children under 1 year old, a covid passport and PCR test results are not required.
Air carriers must accept on flights only those passengers who meet the specified requirements. The land borders of Azerbaijan are still closed. The special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been extended until 06:00 on August 1, 2021. –06D-
