Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) assures that the land dispute will be resolved under the laws of Azerbaijan
Baku / 01.04.20 / Turan: Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) promptly responded to the article "Economic University seized the private land ownership of a citizen", published on 01.04.2020 on the website turan.az. ASEU, believes that the information is distorted, one-sided and does not reflect the real situation:
“Mir Valeh Seyidrza oglu Movsumov appealed to the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) about the problem with the land plot in the midst of construction work. Movsumov appealed also to the Yasamal District Court of Baku. However, the trial was suspended in connection with the referral of the case for examination. Therefore, we consider unilateral coverage, “pronouncing a verdict” before the completion of trials on the basis of incomplete information, to be inexpedient and evaluate it as an attempt to put pressure on the relevant structures.
It should be noted that the reconstruction and construction project was approved in an appropriate manner, there can be no talk of any arbitrariness, the issue of land grabbing is exaggerated, since the territorial boundaries are respected and the problem is only in the forced temporary inconvenience that occurs during any construction or repair, in vicinity.
We responsibly declare that the Azerbaijan State Economic University sacredly respects and complies with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, complies with decisions of the courts of all instances and state bodies, respects the rights and freedoms of citizens. The university leadership met with Movsumov and assured him of this. ”
Turan agency draws attention to the fact that the article stated the comment of the UNEC lawyer Kamala Bunyadova. — 0—
