By the Presidential decree, dated July 18, the owner of Olympic gold medals will be awarded 400,000 manat, and 200,000 his coach.
For the silver prize - 200,000 athletes and 100,000 for the coach.
For bronze winners - 100,000 and 50,000 respectively.
Thus, the total amount of premium of 18 athletes and coaches will be 4.2 million manat (2.8 million AZN for athletes, and 1.4 AZN million for coaches.) From 2.8 million AZN that the athletes will receive 1.8 million AZN will get legionaries invited to Azerbaijan from other countries.

Namizad Safarov, a candidate for deputy in Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, has criticized the Central Election Commission (CEC) for its unpreparedness in holding democratic elections.
