Azerbaijani citizens warned of new immigration rules in Russia
Due to the innovations in the immigration legislation of the Russian Federation , the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia urged citizens going on a trip to Russia to verify the presence or absence of a ban on entry into the territory of this country.
" In recent years, due to innovations in the immigration legislation of the Russian Federation, the cases of refusal of entry to citizens of Azerbaijan to Russia have become more frequent.
As a consequence, the number of complaints and appeals of citizens of Azerbaijan to the embassy increased due to lack of timely information about persons whose entry into Russia is not allowed," the embassy said.
The report also states that currently on the official site of the Federal Migration Service of Russia www.fms.gov.ru, there are Information Services that began to operate an online service to check the reason of no admission to the territory of Russia for foreign citizens and stateless persons by FMS.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan in order to avoid misunderstandings recommends fellow citizens before traveling to Russia to verify the presence or absence of a ban on entry into the territory of the Russian Federation, the report says. -16D-
