Beaches in Absheron that are not suitable for swimming
Baku / 04.06.19 / Turan: In connection with the start of the beach season, specialists of the Integrated Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Environment and the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology inspected sea water on the Caspian coast.
It was established that on the beaches of the villages: Turkic, Hovsan, Shikhovo, Sahil and Sumgayit the amount of harmful substances in the sea water exceeds the norm.
"Therefore, citizens are recommended to refrain from using these beaches," said Arastun Hasanov, head of the Department of Integrated Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Environment.
The beaches of Mardakan, Nardaran, Bilgah, Pirshag, Zagulba, Shuvalan and Buzovna are recognized as suitable for swimming.
Monitoring was conducted on the southern and northern shores of the Absheron Peninsula. -06D--
