Cinemas and other facilities open from October 1st
Baku/24.09.21/Turan: The operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers decided to resume from October 1st a number of areas of activity previously limited by quarantine.
From this date public transport throughout Azerbaijan will operate on weekends.
Recreation and entertainment facilities, children's entertainment facilities, cultural facilities, cinemas, theaters will also resume work with occupancy rates not 50%.
These facilities can work until 00:00, and persons over 18 years old must have a COVID passport to enter.
Also, regular passenger road and rail transportation between cities and regions is being resumed. Passengers over 18 years old must have at least one vaccination, and from November 1st, they must have a COVID passport. -02D-

The charges in the so-called "Toplum TV Case" have reportedly been escalated, with the investigation nearing its conclusion. This case involves the arrest of certain employees and representatives of Toplum Internet Television, the Institute for Democratic Initiatives, and the Third Republic Platform initiative. According to the defense, new charges under Azerbaijan's Criminal Code, including Articles 162-1.1 (engaging workers without an employment contract), 192.3.2 (illegal entrepreneurship with substantial income), 193-1.3.1 and 193-1.3.2 (legalizing property acquired through criminal means in significant amounts), 206.4 (organized smuggling), and 213.2.1 (tax evasion) have been added.

The Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Turan that a State Traffic Police service vehicle collided with children on the roadside after another vehicle unexpectedly cut in front of it.
