Complaints about Gas Limit, Azerigaz Claims Process Not Completed
Bakı / 04.05.19 / Turan: Despite the decision of the Tariff (Price) Council to increase the consumer limit on gas from May 1, this decision is not being implemented. Complaints about this were received by Radio Azadlig from various sources in Baku.
The Tariff Council on April 30 increased the volume of annual gas consumption from 1,700 to 2,200 cubic meters.
However, one of the complainants, who did not wish to give his name, noted that on May 4 he loaded the amount of 20 manat on the card, but despite this only 100 cubic meters of gas was loaded on the card. That is, the calculation was taken on 20 gyapik per 1 cubic meter. "It appears that the limit is not increased, and the calculation is carried out according to the old rules," said the appellant.
The head of the press service of Azerigaz, Ibrahim Kerbalayev, told Radio Azadlig that the process of raising the gas limit started on May 1 and will continue until May 10. "On May 10, the process will be completed and the consumer limit for all subscribers will increase by 500 cubic meters," the spokesman for Azerigaz said. --0--

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35. The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees. Under this directive, refugees without alternative housing cannot be evicted until they are provided with a replacement residence by the Executive Authority.
