Convicted PFPA activist Niyameddin Ahmedov continues hunger strike
Baku/08.10.21/Turan: Niyameddin Ahmedov, an activist of the Popular Front Party, who was sentenced to 13 years in prison today, has been on hunger strike for the 15th day.
Niyameddin does not intend to stop the action. “No matter how much I asked him, he did not listen. It is better to die than to sit in prison for 13 years for a crime that he did not commit,” his father told Niyameddin’s words. -0-

The timing, coinciding with the fireworks, likely masked the sound of gunfire, ensuring that the heinous act went unnoticed until dawn.
