COVID-19 vaccination to start in Azerbaijan next week
Baku/15.01.21/Turan: Vaccination against COVID-19 in Azerbaijan will begin next week, the press secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers Ibrahim Mammadov said on Friday 15 January.
SinoVac vaccine of Chinese production has been delivered to Azerbaijan. At the first stage, healthcare workers and citizens over 65 years old will be vaccinated, Mammadov said.
The same vaccine has been clinically tested in Turkey and has shown more than 90% effectiveness, Turkish media reported -02D-
