Baku / 07.27.19 / Turan: Nine members of the Iranian dry cargo ship Shabahang that is in distress off the coast of Azerbaijan near the port of Lankaran have been rescued by Emergency Situations Ministry helicopters and the patrol vessel of the State Border Service.
The operation was successfully completed at 16.10, the State Maritime Agency of Azerbaijan reported.
Currently, the crew members are evacuated ashore in safe conditions, the message says.
Recall that the distress signal on the ship arrived at 14.10. After that, two Emergencies Ministry helicopters and a patrol ship of the State Fire Service were sent to help the seamen in distress.-06d-

The SOS signal entered the National Center of the State Maritime Agency of Azerbaijan at 14.10 local time.
