Criminal case against former head of Jalilabad region executive power sent to court
Baku/24.12.21/Turan: A criminal case against former head of Jalilabad region executive power Namig Zeynalov has been sent for consideration to Lankaran court for grave crimes.
The judicial investigation will be presided over by judge Hammed Nuriyev.
This is reported on the portal of the electronic court. However, no date of the preparatory meeting has yet been set.
Namig Zeynalov and a number of officials were detained on December 7, 2020 during a law enforcement operation in the Jalilabad region.
The next day, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the dismissal of Namig Zeynalov from the post of head of the executive power of the Jalilabad region.
Zeynalov is facing charges under Article 179.2.2 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan (embezzlement, committed not once); 179.2.3 (the same actions, committed by a person using his official position); 179.2.2. 4 (the same acts committed by a person using his official position and causing significant damage), 308.2 (abuse of office, resulting in serious consequences), 311.3.3 (large-scale bribery), 311.3.2 (repeated bribery), 313 (forgery in office).-06B-
