DDOS Attacks on Meydan TV after Publication of Investigation of SOCAR Activities
Baku / 09.05.19 / Turan: DDOS (Denial of Service) attacks on the website Meydan.tv have been committed for already 10 days in order to disrupt its normal activities. The server receives numerous requests, and it cannot stand their flow. The attacks began after the publication of the investigation of SOCAR"s activities, resulting in limited access to the website.
This is not the first time that DDOS on Meydan.Tv are conducted after publications about SOCAR or its President, Rovnag Abdullayev. Similar attacks are also made on other websites criticizing the State Oil Company and its President.
The initial investigations of IT specialists of Meydan TV show that the attacks mainly come from the territory of Azerbaijan and several foreign servers.
Currently, measures are being taken to restore the activities of Meydan TV, according to its employees.-06D--
