Defense Ministry sappers cleared 955 hectares in 2022
Baku/03.10.22/Turan: Since the beginning of the year, units of the Engineering Troops of Azerbaijan have cleared more than 955 hectares of mines and unexploded ordnance in the liberated territories.
233 mines and unexploded ordnance were discovered and destroyed, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a March 10 report.
In total, since the end of the 44-day war, more than 14,448 hectares of territory have been cleared, 6,092 anti-personnel, 2,159 anti-tank mines and 9,237 unexploded ordnance of various types have been discovered and destroyed.-05D06-

France has accused Azerbaijan of interfering in the domestic affairs of New Caledonia, a French special administrative-territorial entity in the South Pacific. The allegation was made by French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin during an interview with France 2 on May 15.
