Baku/16.01.21/Turan: The Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Subdivisions (TƏBIB) issued a message in connection with the spread in social networks of allegations about the danger of vaccines against a new type of coronavirus and the issuance of compensation by this structure for post-vaccination complications and deaths.

TƏBİB declared that these statements were groundless.

As noted in the message, to date, no cases of complications or human deaths in connection with vaccination have been registered in Azerbaijan.

In general, many deadly diseases have been cured with vaccinations. As for the vaccine against the new type of coronavirus infection, the safety and effectiveness of all vaccines that have passed the third clinical phase are highly valued. At the same time, the press release says that after vaccination, headaches and muscle pains, fever, etc. are possible.

However, these symptoms are an expected outcome and an indicator of a medically positive response from the body to the vaccine. “In view of the above, we ask our citizens to believe only official information and advise citizens to refrain from statements that create confusion in society,” the TƏBIB statement concluded. -05В06-
