Doctrine Center: six soldiers killed in January 2014
As of January 23, 2014 the losses of the defense and security sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 6 people, said the director of the Doctrine Center for Military Journalism Studies Jasur Sumerinli.
According to him, during the period 9 people were wounded or injured.
Among the losses there was one soldier killed by Armenian bullets.
Of the five non-combat losses, 1 died of disease and 4 committed suicide.
Five of the victims belonged to MoD and 1 belonged to the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
Among the wounded and injured there was one soldier wounded by enemy bullets, three facts relating to hazing, 2 suicide attempts and 3 car accidents. Eight were from the Ministry of Defense and one was from the guard of the Prison Service Regiment of the Justice Ministry. -06D-
