Xəyyam Qasımov
Baku/20.06.23/Turan: Khayam Gasimov, a suspect in the delivery of drugs illegally transported to Azerbaijan from Iran, has been detained.
This was reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan dated June 20.
Note that Gasimov was detained as a result of a special operation of the anti-drug department of the main police department of Ganja.
It was established that Gasimov received an order via social networks from Iran for the delivery of a batch of drugs hidden in Ganja in exchange for a monetary reward in Gaza.
During the arrest, 15 kg 530 grams of heroin were found and seized in his bag. The detainee, along with material evidence, was handed over to the investigative body, an enquiry is underway. -06B-
