During last 3 days police seized more than 28 kg of drugs
Baku/30.01.23/Turan: Muhammad Salmanov, who was engaged in drug trafficking, was detained by officers of Sabunchu police department. The Interior Ministry (IM) reported.
About 1kg of heroin and methamphetamine were found in his possession. The detainee testified that he bought the drugs from an Iranian citizen, whom he met on social networks with the purpose of further selling through the Internet.
According to another report of the Interior Ministry, during the operations on January 28 and 29, more than 27 kg of various drugs were detected and seized.
So, 13 kg of that amount, more than 10 kg of marijuana and 4 kg of opium, as well as 325 grams of methamphetamine and 1752 tablets of methadone and tramadol were seized.
