Baku/06.05.22/Turan: Last day, 8 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, 7 people recovered, there were no deaths from COVID-19, according to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
In total, 792,607 cases of infection have been detected since the beginning of the pandemic, including 782,846 people who have recovered and 9,709 have died. Today there are 52 active patients in the country. Over the past day, 2,556 tests for coronavirus have been carried out. ---05D--

On January 7, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree increasing the salaries of employees in several organizations funded by the state budget. According to the decree, the monthly salaries of managerial and other employees in around 20 institutions (including the Presidium, Apparatus, and Ganja Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the Heydar Aliyev Center) will increase by an average of 15% starting January 1, 2025.
