Ex-rector of BSU must pay 811 thousand manat to builders - court
Baku/09.06.21/Turan: On June 9, the Yasamal Court of Baku satisfied the claim against the former rector of the Baku State University (BSU) Abel Maharramov, obliging him to pay 811 thousand manats the builders for the constriction of his facilities. The court found that Maharramov did not pay a group of workers money for the construction of a 4-storey villa in Baku on the St. Suleyman Dadashev.
The court ruled that Maharramov was obliged to pay 90,300 manats for work at this facility, and 70,000 manats for work at the Mona Lisa Palace of Celebrations.
The ex-rector also did not pay for the furnishings of his summer cottage in the village of Madakyan on an area of 44 square meters, and for the repair of the Globus kindergarten on Sharifzade Street, for which he owes 80,000 manats to the builders.
The ex-rector also owes 186,000 manats for the work done in the “El Faro” recreation area in the Khachmaz region. -03D-
