This morning at the age of 84, died Gabibulla Mirkadyrov, father of the journalist Rauf Mirkadirov, who was arrested on charges of treason, according to the journalist’s relatives. They said that despite his age, Gabibulla Mirkadyrov felt normal . However, the arrest of son greatly undermined his health. Yesterday a search was conducted in the apartment of Rauf’s parents, during which nothing of value to the investigation was found; this fact also heavily influenced the older man.
According to lawyers, the investigation did not provide any concrete evidence of Mirkadirov’s guilt.
