Five Activists Continue Hunger Strike at Musavat Headquarters
Baku / 01/18/19 / Turan: Hunger strikes continue in the headquarters of the Musavat party, demanding "Freedom for Mehman Huseynov and all other political prisoners!"
The investigative journalist Khadija Ismayilova told Turan that, in addition to her, 4 people continue the hunger strike: activist Aygul Jafarova, Zafar Ahmedov (father of political prisoner Fuad Ahmedli), Rafig Bakhyshov (father of political prisoner Orkhan Bakhyshly) and Rovshan Niftalyzadeh.
According to Ismayilova, there are no complications in the state of health of the rally participants who have joined it since January 15.
Recall that the rally is held in solidarity with blogger Mehman Huseynov, who declared a hunger strike on December 26 in protest against bringing him a new charge of beating a prison employee. -06D--
