Five People Suffered from Pyrotechnics, Three Poisoned
Baku / 03/01/19 / Turan: Over 4,700 calls were received at the Baku City Emergency Medical Aid Station on New Year's Day.
According to the Ministry of Health, on December 31 there were 2,356 appeals, and on January 1 there were 2,398.
Five people suffered from the use of pyrotechnic products. Of these, two were hospitalized with burn wounds, and three with hand injuries.
Three more people got food poisoning.
Of all those who applied, 647 were children. -06D--

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
