Baku/14.07.21/Turan: Partly cloudy weather is expected tomorrow in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula, mainly without precipitation. However, in the morning, a short-term light rain will take place in some parts of the peninsula, at times a moderate north-western wind will increase. The air temperature will be 22-25 degrees at night, 29-32 degrees in the afternoon; 23-25 degrees at night in Baku and 30-32 degrees in the afternoon, the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reports.
Rains with thunderstorms are expected in some regions of Azerbaijan, and the western wind will increase in some places.
The air temperature will be 20-25 degrees at night, 31-36 degrees in the afternoon; 10-15 degrees is expected in the mountains at night, 20-25 degrees in the afternoon.—06D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
