Forecasters warn of a sharp change in weather conditions
Baku/21.02.21/Turan: From the evening of February 23 to the morning of the 25th, weather conditions will change dramatically in Azerbaijan, the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology reports.
Precipitation in the form of rains, sleet and snow is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula.
North-west wind with a force of 15-20 m / s will blow, at times - up to 23-28 m / s.
At the same time, on February 24, in some parts of the Absheron Peninsula, the wind will increase to 30 m / s.
On February 24-25, a gradual decrease in air temperature is expected by 5-8 degrees compared to previous days - to 0-3 degrees below zero.
On February 23-25, precipitation in the form of rain, sleet and snow is also expected in the regions of the country.
In mountainous and foothill areas, precipitation will be intense.
The west wind will increase from time to time to 18-23 m / s, and in some places - up to 28-32 m / s. The air temperature will drop by 5-8 degrees.
