Forecasters warn of strong force winds in the regions
The National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan issued "yellow" and "orange" alerts in connection with the predicted strong wind in the regions of Azerbaijan on July 2-3.
In particular, a "yellow" warning has been announced in Gazakh, Aghstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Samukh, Barda, Terter, Goygol, Gedabey, Yevlakh, Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Balakian, Zagatala, Sheki, Gakh and Julfa regions, where the easterly wind will increase to 13.9-20.7 m/s.
According to the "orange" notification, storm winds of up to 20.8-28.4 m/s are expected in Nakhchivan, Babek, Shahbuz, Ordubad, Naftalan, Geranboy, Ganja, Mingachevir and Dashkesan.
