Foreign Minister Mammadyarov Explains Meaning of Karabakh to Armenian Air Passengers
Baku / 05.04.19 / Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov yesterday was forced to answer questions from Armenian citizens with whom he flew in one plane from Brussels to Moscow. The conversation was initiated by Armenians who recognized the Minister of Azerbaijan. The video of this conversation was filmed by Armenian passengers.
Mammadyarov answered the questions of Armenians and spoke in Russian and English. The Minister brought to the attention of passengers who introduced themselves as former journalists from Armenia, the well-known Azerbaijani official position of the country on how to resolve the Karabakh conflict.
He explained why there is no peace in Karabakh by asking the former correspondent of Armenpress about the reason for the military service of citizens of Armenia on the Azerbaijani land. To the statement of the Armenian woman that "Artsakh is an Armenian land" the Minister said with a smile that the Azerbaijani origin of Karabakh is visible from its name, advising the passenger not to worry. Then, at her request, she translated the Azerbaijani words "Kara Bag" into Russian - "Black Garden".
The Minister behaved at ease, was cheerful, suave and dressed in a turtleneck sweater, without a jacket.
The conversation of Minister E. Mammadyarov with the citizens of Armenia was interrupted by the request of the flight attendant to the passengers to return and sit down at their seats. -0-
