Baku /23.06.17 /Turan: The Grand Prix-Azerbaijan race of the Formula-1 competitions starts in Baku today.
On Friday there will be free races, on Saturday - a qualifying round, and on Sunday - a decisive race, which will determine the winner.
Racers will have to travel 51 times in the center of Baku along the route: Azadlig Square - Pushkin Street - Khagani Street - Bulbul Avenue - Zarifa Aliyeva Avenue - Neftchilar Avenue -Aziz Aliyev Street - Istiglaliyyet Street - Niyazi Street -Neftchilar Avenue - Azadlig Square.
Formula-1 races are held in Baku for the second consecutive year and under the terms of the contract it will be organized in Azerbaijan for at least another three years. -06D--
