From the beginning of the year in the sphere of defense 17 people died
In the first quarter 2014 losses of defense and security sector in Azerbaijan amounted 17 people, according to military research Journalism Center "Doctrine." Five people were killed in combat by Armenians. Twelve people were killed or died in non-combat conditions. Six soldiers committed suicide ( hanged , shot ) , three died in car accidents, and three soliers died from disease.
Another 25 people were wounded or injured.
In this case , two soldiers were wounded by fire from the Armenian side, two more died of mines.
The rest were injured in non-combat conditions. In the first quarter , three civilians were wounded by fire from the Armenian side. In the first quarter of the year two civilians from Armenia were captured, one of them was returned. --05D06--

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
