Georgian customs officers detained 32 kilo medicines of a citizen of Azerbaijan
Baku/23.02.21/Turan: At the Sarpi checkpoint (Georgian-Turkish border) the Georgian Customs officers detained 32.7 kg of undeclared medicines in the car of an Azerbaijani citizen, whose name was not reported.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the total customs value of 11 different types of medicines amounted to 110,816 lari (about $36,000). An Azerbaijani citizen brought medicines from Turkey.
The case materials were transferred to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia for further response.—03B06-
