Group of Iranian drug traffickers exposed
Baku/20.01.23/Turan: On Thursday, Baku police detained four Iranian citizens engaged in drug trafficking in Azerbaijan, the press service of the Interior Ministry reported.
These are students of the Medical University: Ata Maleki, his brother Pouya, as well as Ali Maleki and Shishen Maleki. About 1 kg of various drugs, a large amount of money and electronic scales were found in the house where they lived.
Their accomplice in the drug business, Geybat Hasanov, was also detained, from whom more than 2 kg of marijuana was seized. During the interrogation, the detainees admitted that they had organized the online sale of drugs in Baku and the regions of the Republic.
A criminal case has been initiated upon the fact, the detainees have been arrested. Operational measures to detain other members of the drug network are ongoing. -02D-
