Gurban Mammadov Denied His Arrest and Trip to Turkey
Baku / 17.09.20 / Turan: Political emigrant Gurban Mammadov on September 17 denied the message about his arrest, spread the day before by his own son.
He posted a video on Facebook where he stated that he was in London, and he did not go to Turkey at all.
“The Azerbaijani authorities started a hunt for me. From a security point of view, I haven't told anyone where I've been for the last two days, including my family. ”
According to him, a certain criminal authority called Mammadov and two other emigrants with threats. For this reason, he contacted the London police.
From this statement it did not become clear why Mammadov's own son posted fake information about his father's trip to Turkey and his arrest. Strangely, Gurban Mammadov does not assess this either.
It can be assumed that this performance was deliberately conceived to draw the attention of the British authorities to the person of Gurban Mammadov and prevent his extradition to Azerbaijan. –06D-
