Hajj rises in price

Baku / 27.01.20 / Turan: Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) begins accepting documents from those wishing to make a hajj to Mecca this year.

CMO informed that the documents would be accepted until the end of May 2020.

The cost of the pilgrimage this year will be 4490 US dollars. This is by $205 more than last year.

The reason for the rise in price is not reported, as well as the quota for pilgrims from Azerbaijan this year.

The price for Hajj is increasing annually, and the quotas allocated by the Saudi authorities for pilgrims reduce. Last year, the quota for Azerbaijan was 1,400 people, and was not fully used. -02B-
