Headquarters, 70 Soldiers and 20 Units of Armenian Military Equipment Destroyed in Karabakh
During the fierce fighting in Karabakh in recent days 70 Armenian servicemen were killed. The loss of Azeri side made up 16 people, said the Defense Ministry press service of Azerbaijan.
After unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost area, the Armenians continued shelling of settlements in the direction of Khojavend - Fizuli and Terter - Agdere.
By retaliation, the headquarters of one of the biggest military bases of the enemy, providing the enemy forces, was destroyed. This important strategic headquarters was located on the road to the town of Agdere in the northern part of the village Madagiz (north of Nagorno-Karabakh).
In addition, on the evening of April 4, three battle tanks located in trenches for circular firing on the defense line of the enemy were destroyed together with the crew.
On the southbound Azerbaijani units destroyed two tanks with the crew in Fizuli – Khojavend, along with up to 5 units of the enemy’s wheeled equipment loaded with ammunition.
In general, on April 4, the day before the morning of April 5, as a result of operational activities and return fire, Armenians lost 70 soldiers and 20 units of military equipment.
At present, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in order to preserve the liberated areas, take all appropriate measures, said the Defense Ministry's press service. -06D-
