Hot weather is coming
Partly cloudy weather is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on Thursday, July 4. At night, short-term precipitation and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the peninsula. The north-westerly wind will prevail, which will be replaced by a south-easterly one in the afternoon. The air temperature at night will be +20 +24 °, during the day +30 +35°, according to the National Hydrometeorology Service.
Mostly no precipitation is expected in the regions of Azerbaijan. However, short-term precipitation, thunderstorms and hail are possible in some mountainous areas during the day. A moderate easterly wind will prevail. The air temperature at night will be +20 +24°, during the day +31 +36°. +8 +13° is expected in the mountains at night, +15 +20° in the daytime.

The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan appealed to the population with recommendations on health protection in connection with the established hot weather. The appeal indicates the need to avoid overheating of the body, which causes negative consequences for the body. The main symptoms of heat and sunstroke are redness of the face, severe headache, dizziness, darkening of the eyes, nausea, vomiting, nosebleeds and visual impairment.

Windy and rainy weather is expected in the regions of Azerbaijan starting from the evening of July 6 to the afternoon hours of the 8th. On July 3, during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in Astana, a joint declaration on establishing a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China was adopted.
