Hunger strike of a convict in the Terter case
Baku/23.08.19/Turan: Orhan Babayev, condemned in the Terter case to 15 years in prison went on hunger strike in jail No.15, reported his father Nariman Babayev, who visited his son in the specified penal institution on August 23.
"Today we met with Orhan. He said that he has been on a hunger strike for five days now because his case was not objectively investigated by the investigation and the courts and, as a result, an unreasonable sentence was passed. After my urgent requests, he stopped the hunger strike. But the son is innocent and can"t put up with unfairness in any way and this negatively affects his psychological state and health," N.Babayev said.
