In 2022, ANAMA cleared over 12,000 mines and almost 15,000 unexploded ordnance
Baku/03.01.23/Turan: In 2022, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) discovered and neutralized 12,313 mines in the territories liberated from Armenian occupation in 2022, the agency said.
In particular, in January-December 2022, 8,780 anti-personnel, 4,133 anti-tank mines and 14,950 unexploded ordnance were discovered and defused in Terter, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavend, Lachyn, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan.
41,915.77 hectares of land were cleared of mines andunexploded ordnance. ---06B---
