In December, Customs Seized 24 Kg of Drugs
Baku / 30.12.19 / Turan: During December 2019, customs officers of the country discovered and revealed 24 kg of various drugs with 5 attempts to smuggle them, the press service of the Customs Committee said.
On December 6, Iranian citizen Mohammadi Jalal Ebadollah tried to send opium-saturated material to Australia. The audit found that the wool was saturated with more than 3 kg of opium.
On December 9 and 11, about 20 kg of opium was found in five postal parcels addressed from Azerbaijan to Australia.
In personal belongings of several Iranian citizens when crossing the border more than 4 kg of opium was revealed.
