Baku/01.08.22/Turan: The State Border Service of Azerbaijan has issued an official statement on measures to combat drug trafficking, illegal migration and smuggling in July 2022.
During the month, 27 border violators were detained, including 21 citizens of Azerbaijan, 2 - Iran, 2 – Pakistan, 1 – Uzbekistan.
Besides, 580 persons who violated the rules of the border regime were detained.
Along with this, 239 people wanted were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities.
Note that 145 kg 455 grams of drugs and 16,197 psychotropic pills were seized from the illegal defense.
As a part of measures to combat smuggling, goods worth 2 million 440.591 manats were detained. -05D06-
