Interior Ministry and State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations urged parents not to bring their children to religious ceremonies.
The Interior Ministry and the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations have appealed to citizens, urging them not to bring their children to religious ceremonies due to the beginning of the mourning month of Muharram on July 7.
The appeal states that religious ceremonies should be held only on the territory of mosques and shrines. "In some cases, parents take young children to places of religious ceremonies. We ask parents to take into account that the participation of young children in mass ceremonies, including wake ceremonies, is inappropriate from the point of view of their safety and health," the appeal said.
