About 20 activists of the Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) on Monday attempted to hold a protest in front of the Four Seasons Hotel in the center of Baku. So they protested against the participation of Armenian delegates of the seminar Parliamentary Assembly (PA) NATO Rose Roth held there.
Participants of the rally were holding banners saying "Down with Armenia!"
The police pushed the protesters from the building. After that, the activists tried to block traffic on the square Azneft, but were pushed back from there. About detainees nothing has been reported. -16B-

On January 14, a strategic partnership charter was signed between Armenia and the United States (U.S.). U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, speaking about the document, emphasized efforts to strengthen Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. One Indian citizen was killed, and another was injured in an incident at a company in the Absheron district. The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported the incident on January 13.
