Labour contracts with 743 school teachers terminated - Ministry of Education
Baku/04.09.23/Turan: Labour contracts have been terminated with 743 school teachers who failed to pass recertification. This is stated in the information of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.
According to the same source, the attestation was held in 2022, and those who did not pass were invited to take the re-examination on 29 August this year.
A total of 1,939 teachers took part in the recertification. 1,334 of them were eligible to participate in the next stage by obtaining a passing score.
Out of 743 teachers who did not pass the re-certification, 606 did not get the minimum passing score, and 137 teachers did not come to the repeated examination. According to the "Regulations on Certification of Teachers Working in State General Education Institutions" and the Labour Code, the process of termination of employment contracts with these teachers began on 4 September. -0-
