Baku / 14.06.17 / Turan: Today in the secondary schools of Azerbaijan the "last bell" took place on the occasion of graduation from Grades 9 and 11.
This year, incomplete secondary education has been received by 110,638 students, and full secondary education has been received by 84,000. For the 2017/2018 years, 164,945 children will be admitted to Grade 1.
By order of the Minister of Education, events on the occasion of the "last bell" were held within the educational institutions. This is done to ensure the safety of students. In the past, mass gatherings of graduates in public places led to fights.
