Lawyer Aghil Lahij Visits Tofig Yagublu in Jail
Baku / 07.09.20 / Turan: On Monday, lawyer Aghil Lahij met with Tofig Yagublu in the Shuvalan detention center.
“He came to the meeting very late. He was lethargic and pale, moved with difficulty, his eyes were sunken. He said that he lost 9 kg in weight - from 91 kg up to 82 kg”, wrote the lawyer on his Facebook page.
Yagublu said that the deputy head of the pre-trial detention center Rasim Asgarov and a psychologist came to him. They wanted to draw up some kind of act about his psychological state. Yagublu allegedly is on a hunger strike because of his psychological state. However, Yagublu told them that his psychological state was normal and that he was on a hunger strike because of injustice towards him. —16D06-
