Meat and Meat Products May Be Imported with Permission of National Food Safety Agency
Baku / 06.02.20 / Turan: Shipment of animals and animal products to Azerbaijan can be carried out only after the appropriate permission of the National Food Safety Agency (NFSA). Otherwise, the responsibility for possible negative consequences lies with the importers themselves.
This is stated in the appeal of NFSA to entrepreneurs as part of measures to prevent the penetration of various diseases into Azerbaijan.
In connection with the epidemic of corona virus and bird flu, NFSA laboratories have been switched to an enhanced regime.
Entrepreneurs and citizens are obliged to familiarize themselves with veterinary requirements when importing products and animals, the statement said. -03D-
