Media Development Agency to spend 430,000 manats on foreign guests
Baku/02.08.22/Turan: The State Budget has allocated AZN 429,436 to the Media Development Agency on public procurement for "international level events", research and application of international practice in the field of media and cooperation with specialized organizations of foreign countries.
According to tender.gov.az site, the above amount will be spent in the period from 1 to 20 August.
According to the mentioned expenditure items, foreign guests will be met on a grand scale. In particular, they will be provided VIP cars produced not earlier than 2020.
Also, they will be accommodated in VIP and "deluxe" rooms of the five-star hotel at the seaside.
In total 40 foreign guests will be invited, whose tickets will be paid by the hosts.
As a part of the visit, it is also planned to visit the liberated territories and hold an international event there.

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
