Mehman Huseynov Leaves for Medical Examination in Georgia
Baku / 14.01.20 / Turan: Blogger Mehman Huseynov left for Georgia today for a medical examination and treatment after being beaten by police on December 27 in central Baku.
On this day, activists held a protest against the arrest of rapper Pasteur (Parviz Guluzadeh). Mehman was taken out of town and severely beaten.
Local doctors recorded injuries in Huseynov and diagnosed blood clots in the blood vessels on the leg.
The blogger will stay in Tbilisi for several days and return to Azerbaijan to participate in the election campaign for the Milli Majlis. He is registered as a candidate for deputy in the 31st Surakhani II district. — 06В-
