Baku/04.07.22/Turan: Rains, in some places torrents, were observed in regions of Azerbaijan, and snow fell in the Greater Caucasus, the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology.
As a result of heavy rains, the banks of the Garachay and Talachay rivers in the Zagatala region overflowed, and a mudflow passed through the village of Gymyrbazar.
In Balakan, the amount of precipitation was 83 mm, Zagatala 80 mm.
The height of snow cover on Shahdag was 1 cm.
The west wind reached 20 m/s in Naftalan, 15-17 m/s in Baku and Absheron.

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
