Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) about the night fire
As a result of yesterday's fire in a building near the train station, about 2 million square meters burnt down, no one was injured, said the MES.
The fire destroyed 2,000 square meters wooden structures on the sixth floor of the building which is being built by the "AMIN" housing complex. Three flats in the nearby three-storey building suffered; over 300 square meters of living territory and household items in several apartments burnt down.
The truck "Ford" and «Skoda», owned by private individuals were also destroyed by the fire.
According to the MES, they managed to prevent the spread of fire beyond the area and adjoining house. The fire was extinguished by 22:30. Nothing is reported about the causes of the fire. According to witnesses, several people were affected by smoke and stress, they were provided medical assistance. -16D-
